I am an avid reader of and contributor to this board (among others) and am finding it much harder and less enjoyable since all HPC threads have been moved to one sticky thread. There are too many different discussions to follow things easily on just one thread. I have gained soooooooooooooo much good advice from previous posts on this topic and gained a great deal of extremely useful information and food for thought. I used to love reading all the conflicting opinions (even the trolls made me laugh:D ) and it gave me both sides of the argument so that I could decide on my own take.
I’d really like to know how many people agree that this board would be easier to use if it were to be divided into three sub-boards.
Personally, I'm struggling to get all the information I'd like to see easily available. I realise that the board guides have done this in the best interests of the whole MSE community as there were too many trolls posting constant repetitive threads and I do appreciate sincerely all their hard work keeping things running as smoothly as possible. However, I happen to agree with tre3mor who recently suggested that this board needs dividing into three sub-boards which I am paraphrasing and (and adding to) below:
1) Buying/Selling: Advice on getting the best price for your house sale/purchase, estates agents, solicitors, legal issues, moving, fees, viewings, etc.
2) Renting: Advice for LLs and tenants, etc.
3) Markets: Opinions, discussion and advice on house prices and the current/future state of the housing market etc.
If those of us who think the board would work even better if divided into three are in the majority, I would respectfully urge the powers that be to consider doing this. However, if I am in the minority then I’ll fade gracefully into the background!:o

Err, what conflict of interest is that? Seems fair enough, she's allowed an opinion too."Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.

Yesyeah, seem reasonable. problem is lots of posts asking should i buy and how much should i borrow turn into into crash preictions/arguments, that and the market sub forum will probably degenerate into open warfare.0
