ZZPS cannot "instruct" anyone to do anything at all - only the issuing PPC can do that and if you have not identified yourself as the driver to them, the chances of that happening are rarer than hens teeth.

I've been told not to make contact but these letters are not going away and i'm becoming more and more anxious.

If you make contact you will receive even more letters because they will think you are nearer to cracking and paying.

So what are you going to do then?

Why do we have to repeat tried and tested, very sound advice? The only way this will go away is if you pay it.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If the letters didn't scare you then wouldn't ever collect anything. If you actually read the wording it's all vague and woolly.

They may recommend for example. It's designed to scare you whilst not actually telling you they are going to do anything.

Ignore them. Join the hundreds, if not thousands, who have without problems.

it wont "go away" until 5 years has passed, which is when it is statute barred in Scotland (its 6 years in E &W) , SO ITS ANOTHER 2 YEARS FOR THAT

I have just received a letter from QDR solicitors, who have been instructed by ZZPS, who are acting on behalf of CIVIL ENFORCEMENT LTD to recover payment of £212. Failure to pay may result in recommendation to ZZPS that the matter is passed to Litigation Partner Yuill and Kyle Solicitors who may obtain a Decree again me. This is followed by a list of how it affects my credit rating ect.

WOW what a tangled web they all are.

By the time they appoint all these, it will cost them a fortune
and they will not recover it ..... pure madness
QDR LIE ..... ZZPS CANNOT INSTRUCT THEM

Yuill and Kyle Solicitors well know that it is the sheriff
who decides whether they win or lose and in the
meantime they are menacing you and you should
show this letter to Trading Standards Scotland with
    a firm complaint

So what if the sheriff Lorna A Drummond QC, found the
claimant in favour ....... that was not you and as we all
know judges make errors and they are not all the same.

Trust people on here, Scotland is not user friendly
for PPC's especially when they don't know who
    the driver is

Hang in, ignore nutty debt collectors like ZZPS, block
    them on your phone

Just wait to see what hand Yuill and Kyle Solicitors play
    and come back here
  • Aberdeen 89 I seem to be in exactly the same situation, exactly the same letters in exactly the same time scale (Scotland too). I appreciate exactly how worrying this is, the letters are extremely stressful when you get them. As I have had highlighted to me on here the crucial word is 'may'. They 'may' follow it up. they're playing a fishing game here - I wouldn't be surprised if there are loads of other folks all over Scotland with similar stories. Let's stand firm and ignore these chancers!

Ignore is the way to do it .... yes they are after mugs with
    their scary stupid letters

I just wonder if Yuill and Kyle Solicitors (debt crawlers)
know what they are doing getting involved with scammers ???

They will end up like their oppo numbers down south
where they rise to the top of google searches as bad boys.

Very odd way to run a business but as they say ...
"each to his own" ..... not our problem
