1 debt vs 100 days chapter 29

Haven't posted in a few weeks, but there's been a lot of work going on in the background to reduce the bills and meet the 100 day challenge targets.
My thinking since I signed up to the challenge 6 weeks ago has changed though. At the time, I had 2 credit cards with a total balance of around €3k, and a personal loan of €9.5k. I wanted to clear the cards and reduce the loan to €5k.
There were some extra expenses that went on the cards and pushed up the balances, and thus my target.
As of this morning, one of the cards has been cleared and cancelled; the other has an outstanding balance of €5k (€4k at 4.9% until November) and the personal loan is cleared, which has resulted in a saving of €1,854 in avoided interest.
Of my original target, I'm €351 away from reaching it.
I'm still roughly €16.5k away from being debt free, but the light at the end of the tunnel grows brighter with every payment.
My new personal challenge will be to clear the credit card by September and, when it is used in the future, to ensure the money is there to clear it immediately
Best of luck to everyone :beer:LBM: March 2018, Aiming for a DFD of December 2019
