Possible password security issue at Virgin! Check your acc.
Just found a what could be a major issue at Virgin, I found this on Virgin Mobile, but it could be across all Virgin accounts!
I called about an old account where I'd forgotten the password, the agent give me the 'password prompt'. Now I've never setup a password prompt, I was never asked to when I set the acc up.
Turns out the prompt WAS THE PASSWORD!
The agent that opened the account back in November last year had just entered the same info in both fields!
I've taken this up with the complaints dept who say that they're going to be looking into it, but I'd advice anyone with a Virgin account of any type to call them and check what your prompt is especially if you don't think you have one...

It just sounds like a mistake by the agent at the time.
I had reason to call them recently, I couldn't remember the password, had to be reminded and it worked correctly.
But something to be generally aware of is that security questions like "your first car" and "your first school" are now considered to be insecure by modern standards because people share so much about themselves over social media. Security expert Brian Krebs recently advised not to complete quizzes that you find on Facebook etc.:

I put money on an offshore agent setting up the account password like that.0
