cheapest bulk beer offer??? supermarket

I hope it is across the country Ed, I'm in Scotland and got some 2 weeks ago for the England football and rugby games and when I went shopping again two days ago it was still there, so I don't think it was a limited offer. (They do 2 versions, the Weiss and the Pils).
It was a twisty plastic thing at the top that you turn then pull out a tap near the bottom, no extra kit needed. When you've finished pouring you twist the tap and twist the top to keep some pressure for next time.
I don't know how long it would stay fresh for once you opened it as I got carried away and drank it on the Saturday... but it did empty to the bottom and was very very good (imho) and it works out £7 cheaper than tescos for the same volume.

Not sure about other breweries but where i work the warehouse is nearly allways full anyway, poor summer sales have just meant lower production.
Running up to Xmas all breweries will be at full capacity with warehouses full to start with so no excess stock anywhere to be sold off cheaply.
Taking Stella 20 x 284ml for example, I doubt you will see any better offers than the Sainsburys 3 for £20 for that product.

Carlsberg 24 x 440ml (2 packs for £16) at Morrisons, I know it's not the best in the world but there again it is only around 33p a can!! hic!
