I think that the Somerfield offer is on until November 6th,so stock up for christmas now
if i had known then what i know now
  • I noticed last night on Hotukdeals that there is a printing error on the asda website. 20 bottles of heineken beer for £0.10. As I say it is a printing error and whether Asda will honour it I'm not sure but plenty of people on there were giving it a go.

From tomorrow until November 6th, a case of 20x275ml Bottles of Carlsberg Export is half price at Tesco = £7.00.

Many stores also have packs with 4 extra free bottles of Carlsberg Edge, so 24 bottles for £7 would be a very good deal.

maybe we should be using the IMHO reference on any beer related comments a bit more - beauty of beer is that everyone has different tastes and its fun to enthuse about our own, but to disregard the tastes of others comes across as a little irritating. The beers referred to as 'horrible' are the leading selling beers in the country - whether you like it or not, people are putting their money where their mouths are...

having said all that - Carlsberg Export... maybe the border guards could put a little more effort in stopping it leaving Denmark.... (imho)

:T :T and :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: at border guards needing to put more effort in!
(i'm a wine girl, was just looking for my dh's benefit;) )

The trouble is that the Danish authorities have neglected to place any of their border guards in Northampton.

Morrisons have 12 cans of Tetley's for only £4. At 3 cans for £1 it will be cheaper than coke for the kids pack lunches  :rotfl:

They also have 70cl bottles of spirits as well for £8 - Gordons Gin, Teachers Whisky and Snirnoff Vodka, but sadly the kids only drink Bacardi

Its a shame really as it could have stopped Northamptons top rate burglars branching out to local towns and villages (imho) ;)
seriously tho, LIDL have some 5litre barrels of German Wheat Beer for £9 so about £1 a pint and it tastes bloomin marvellous (again imho).

This sounds good. I like wheat beer, but strictly in moderation. Do you know if this generally available in Lidl across the country? Also how exactly does the barrel work, like is there a tap attached, or does it have to be connected to a kegmeister type of thing?
