Right now I don't think you'll beat the Sainsbury's 3 for 2 offer on the following beers:
Stella Artois 20x284ml - £10.00
Grolsch 20x300ml - £10.00
Carling 18 x 440ml - £10.00
Carlsberg 18x440ml - £10.00
Carlsberg Export 20x275ml - £10.00
Fosters 18 x 440ml - £10.00
John Smiths Extra Smooth 18 x 440ml - £10.00
Strongbow Cider 18 x 440ml - £10.00

Apart from the Carlsberg Export, most, if not all are horrible beers. No where seems to do offers on quality beers anymore.0 -
Sainsbury were doing 20 bottles of Kroneberg beer for £7-49 (half price) last weekend. Reports in the media states all have large supplies at the warehouses due to the wet summer and most will be slashing prices to about 30p/pint for Christmas, just to get rid of it....0

Well certainly I look forward to reading your yuletide post letting us know when Stella is £3 a case. It's also great to hear about expired offers. In the mean time, what I posted is the actual answer to the original poster's question, i.e. the best offer in-store at the moment on bulk buy beer.
I agree with Matte that the beers in the offer are not great, but then I stocked up on Becks when it was half price in Sainsbury's a couple of weeks ago.

Check these websites:
http://www.fixtureferrets.co.uk/
http://www.madaboutbargains.co.uk/offers/Off_Your_Trolley.htm
But always double check the prices on MySuperMarket. Once you have found what you are looking for click on the picture of that product to see if another supermarket is selling it for less than what you have found on the above sites, sometimes the supermarkets deals are not really as big a bargain as you might think.0 -

I think i'll be stocking up on the carling this weekend then!!! I'm happy with this post because I just found out that ASDA recently finished a similar offer, (all the above for 2for£16 or 3for£20). but this works out the same.
Thanks Ed0 -

maybe we should be using the IMHO reference on any beer related comments a bit more - beauty of beer is that everyone has different tastes and its fun to enthuse about our own, but to disregard the tastes of others comes across as a little irritating. The beers referred to as 'horrible' are the leading selling beers in the country - whether you like it or not, people are putting their money where their mouths are...
having said all that - Carlsberg Export... maybe the border guards could put a little more effort in stopping it leaving Denmark.... (imho)0
