We were told Wednesday would be the day we would have our offer issued, but it turns out my D.O.B was entered incorrectly, so they declined the application, when my MA picked up on this to correct it with them, the case was already locked and no one could access it. They now have their IT team looking into it to reopen to accept and issue the offer :(

'Track It' has multiple updates today, Barclays to release funds on Wednesday, exchange and completion happening next Friday, 11th

Will be 3 1/2 months from putting the offer in on the house. 2 months exactly from submission of application.

Hope the rest of you are making progress!
  • Hi all, I'm very new here

So we have had our AIP, Experian is showing that searches have been done and according to the Barclays 'track it' feature they are organising a valuation, however, the 'declarations' section is stating not started on track it, yet they were sent over 2 weeks ago!! Its all very confusing. If they are organising a valuation, does that mean we have been approved for the mortgage. Also, both our credit scores are classed as fair, yet we have no CCJ's or defaults, all payments are up to date and not a huge amount of debt between us, and we are on the electoral roll, so how can the credit scores only be fair?!

Its all very confusing and frustrating :wall::wall::wall: any advice would be appreciated please
  • Hi,

    So i’m also enthralled in the ongoing saga of a mortgage application with Barclays. I did it via a broker so I don’t have the frustration of the TrackIt portal you all refer to it! I have nothing... literally nothing. DIP was agreed on the 15th May and I was advised by the estate agent (?!) that the valuation was booked for today! So they’ve been today I believe, does anyone know what to expect next? I spoke to my broker today and she said that Barclays have a backlog?! In the time from application to valuation, would my application been through underwriting? My cheeky offer was accepted on the proviso of a quick sale... don’t know what “quick” is in terms of mortgage applications as i’m a FTB! !!!128556;

Not sure what your saga is here? You did an application last Tuesday. A valuation was being done Yesterday (1 week later, which is booked based on the availability of both the vendor and valuer - a week is pretty good). It's only been a week and you wont hear anything after your DIP until the valuation is back in. Did your broker not explain this?

Application Submitted on 21st May 2018 and there is still no progress.

does anyone know the current timeframe for Barclays to process mortgage application?
  • In a similar position - full application made on the 22nd May. I've had 3 unhelpful updates showing on Track-It telling me the same thing (that my Key Facts Illustration is ready).

I spoke to my MA earlier this week and was told that they have received a high level of applications and so there are some delays to processing so to allow an extra few days.
  • Offer received below is the timeline

18th May mortgage application submitted directly at Bank
    31st May valuation Instructed
7th June valuation Completed by the surveyor
9th June "Saturday" text received by the bank that offer is sent via post and can be viewed online
  • I already have a mortgage with Barclays, and after 9 months I have applied for a further advance,

AIP search done on = 01/10/2018 (lowered my credit score)
Full application submitted on = 7/10/2018
    Phone call from E-surv on = 08/10/2018
    Valuation completed on = 14/10/2018

Barclays still awaiting for more info from Broker, I phoned Barclays why is it still showing as Application on the Track it, apparently proof of ID is needed again but I have a mortgage already, this was given to them.

what are the time frame with the underwriters?

Anyone else is still stuck in the same position and has a very slow broker that deals with this?
