Not much happening here as still feeling really unwell, Drs this afternoon, hoping they'll help me. I called in sick yesterday (for my shift on weds am), discovered the person I spoke to hadn't registered my call or took me off shift!!.. Thankfully it's now been sorted.
DS1 has sorted washing and will collect his bro from school for me later..

Donna I am so sorry to hear your sad news. I cannot begin to imagine how you are feeling right now. (((HUG)))
Natty oh poor Dave; there's not much that's more miserable than a mouthful of ulcers.- Booked Rosie onto an introductory scent work course from the end of the month.
I've had an email from the boys' Dad; the family are safely home, and will be collecting the boys at 14:30. I am so going to miss them. But the good news is that they've booked them in for a two and a half week stay with us in July. :T It's been interesting - we even have a "milestone" for Indi in that he pooed whilst out on his walk for the first time ever; up to now he's only ever gone in the garden.
We have 10 days dogless, the Dusty will be here on 20th. I hope to a) get my end-of-course exam done, and b) make some inroads into the Spring cleaning list in the meantime.
RANT ALERT
It's bin day today. In this area, all food waste is supposed to be put in the green wheelie bins, NOT in the black landfill sacks. Some complete and utter wazzock put a chicken carcass in their black bag and put it out last night (the bin men come quite early these days) and of course the local vermin had torn open the bag and scattered the contents.
It's just a good thing I am long-sighted, and recognised the chicken carcass for what it was before Buddy and Indi were able to get anywhere near it (we pass the place where the bin bags are put to get to the alleyway to go for walks) as chicken bones are so very dangerous for dogs. If ever I find out who it was......:mad::mad:
/RANT OVERIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

most of my kitchen cupboards decluttered. I have a box of picked onions, beetroot, chutneys, sauces to go to the first person to remove them.. GROSS!! I have a box of 50 coffee jars, a box of 36 Gu glass dishes, 4 tapas bowls and an electric knife to go and I've just embarked on binbag number 2 for the wheelie and 2 boxes of recycling gone.
This thinner me is VERY motivated to fling the house contents.. I shall have an empty house in 3.5 stone time if I continue at this rate. I'm really enjoying this positive change in me and other than a couple fo slip ups I've not seen hide nor hair of the beastly black dog for a while.. and things can stay that way!
Off to wash my hair before I have to do the school run.
WM's both refilled with dirty stuff but not full enough to wash as yet
DW on again.. there is more to start a third load!
I need to get in the shed to extract a box of more coffee jars.. they will be gone!!!
I can't wait for a few days of decent weather so I can get in the sheds and start a massive fling out there.
I also have 2 carriers of stuff for school craft bin.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
(((Hugs))) Donnajt.
Wading through paperwork, making phone calls and generally trying to clear a horrendous backlog. The To Do list seems to grow at a greater rate than the time I've got.
The chap came to fit the vinyl flooring in the shower room and a bit of the passage outside it and went away again when he realised he couldn't do it without 'the boy' who's at the hospital in agony having a tooth dealt with. *sigh*
Here's inflation for you. I worked for a solicitor in 2003/4 doing the accounts a few hours a week. The bill for a doing a housesale conveyance was £200 + VAT. I've just got a few quotes this morning for the chalet and the lowest is £495. Wow!Better is good enough.0
