Rate setter IF Isa

Am I right in assuming that if I open a rate setter IF Isa, I can still open another cash ISA this tax year? Also I presume the IF Isa will count towards your 20k annual subscription max over all forms of ISA - Lisa, If Isa, Cash isa, Stocks Isa etc?

Thanks

Yes you can contribute up to a total of £20k this tax year across the 4 main types of adult ISAs.

Cheers. What about transfers. You can transfer cash isa to s&s but what about if isa? Can cash isa balance be transferred to this?

ISA transfers are not withdrawn from the ISA. They stay within the ISA. So, they dont eat any of your allowances.

The below Ratesetter link states transfers are allowed

The RateSetter ISA is an Innovative Finance ISA. Investors can add up to £20,000 in each tax year and will be able to transfer money in from other ISAs from April 2018.
