Help To Buy ISA's

I previously opened a Help to Buy ISA and deposited some money into it and then had to take the money out without claiming the government bonus so my ISA is now empty. Am I able to close this Help to Buy ISA and reopen a new one so that I can deposit the initial £1200 again?
I have never owned a home and will need as much help as possible to be able to afford the deposit. Also am I able to use the Help to Buy ISA in conjunction with the Help to Buy equity loan? or would I have to choose one scheme to use?
Thanks!

Yes if you have not contributed to it this tax year (ie this week) just close it and open new one. Both HTB schemes are compatible but the HTB ISA property price limit applies to the total property value.

Also if you could save £4k per year have you considered the Skipton Lifetime ISA for a bigger 25% bonus? The downside is that there is a withdrawal penalty (if you access before 60 for any other reason than a qualifying property purchase) so you would need to hold your emergency money elsewhere.
