Finally - items have been delivered.

I posted 32 items on Saturday the 22nd of SEPTEMBER and they have only just started to be delivered today.
Today i got feedback from 11 buyers as of now, plus a few messages telling me that they have only just received their purchase.

I cant remember when the postal strike started but im sure it wasnt back in September, was it ?

Still to get to their destination are:

    Posted 4th October

4 ebay items (Though this was 6 until today, I'm hoping when the other people get home from work etc that there'll be more)
    Package to Friend in Leeds
Birthday present to friend in Australia.

    Posted 12th october

9 ebay items including 1 to italy

    19th october

    4 ebay items

And some more posted today. I'm not gonna sell on eBay anymore, it's not worth the hassle  There's still bits to get here too, I'm fed up of it.
  • Like you Jarrod1, I had an item I sent by 1st class RD on 25th September and it only arrived on 12th October.

I had another two items which I sent on 8th October, again 1st class RD, one arrived 18th October, the other only this morning!

And my final item which I sent on 16th October by 1st class RD arrived on 19th October.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the length of time, strike or not.

It's put me off ebaying and I'm geting all my xmas things ready now so that when I see people I can give them their presents. I'm going to put as little as humanly possible through the Royal Mail.

I have just had a 1st class packet delivered, posted in London on 6th.

Oddly, and a bit worryingly, there's no sign of a packet sent 1st class recorded on Saturday. In general, I've been getting recently posted items more or less on time.
  • I'm still waiting for 2 items posted 5th October from 15 miles up the road, but posted an item on Saturday and they got it this morning. There's just no making sense of any of it.

Still waiting for 7 or my original 32 items to be delivered (only one month on).
I also posted some second class recorded items just after the strike, one of which was going to Belfast (15miles away) and the other going to chester. just checked on the royal mail site using the tracker number and they STILL havnt been delivered.
  • I'm still waiting for an item paid for on the 4th October, from the replies here it's made me a little less panicky, but my seller still is't responding so I'm still not happy.
