Is Comping on the decline?

The amount of tatt I get tagged for on Social media astounds me, and I'm not dead snobby, I happily shop at poundland and poundstretcher, just for stuff that's actually useful or nice in some way. I see people tagging 50 people for something I would be embarrassed to put in a charity sack.
Also saw someone post in a FB compers group about how they had won their first prize after a year and were eternally grateful and over the moon etc etc and it was for a cereal bowl. And loads of people were sayhing, 'well done, dry spell's over, just shows you need to keep at it...' etc etc
I comp when I haven't the energy to do owt else and find it enjoyable, as soon as it feels like a slog that's enough for the day cos by golly if you work out the hourly reward rate it's diabollical theses days.2018 - £562 2019 - £130 2020 - £276 2021 - £106 2022 - £1400
