Quite a lot of the time even the brand new car you buy has had a bit of paintwork done to rectify damage in transit.

Personally I'd not be worried, you won't be able to tell its been done if the sprayer is half decent. If anything it'll have had all the surrounding panels machine polished as well so will likely be better than it was had this not happened.

As others have stated, the concern for me is why did the sticker remove the paint in the first place - maybe poor quality. Could the other paintwork be of similar quality and lead to issues down the line.

    Walk away, no, run away

Thank you for all the responses, very helpful.
My father is a mechanic and my brother dabbles in car body repair; both have said that once the bonnet has been re-sprayed, it runs the risk of not matching the rest of the vehicle or bubbling and peeling later on. As we only have a 3 month warranty with the Car, we would have to fork out maybe 6, 9 months later or more down the line for a fault that was not down to us.
This is my reason for not accepting the car. I will be contacting the dealership tomorrow and try and wrap this up.
