Long story this one but I'll try and be brief.Received a letter yesterday from Sainsbury’s energy telling me I had contacted then recently and cancelled my direct debit – Not true never did.
When I phoned them they told me they hadn’t collected any payments since November despite them sending me a letter at the end of December telling me my DD was going to increase to accommodate increased usage.
Now turns out they have had a massive problem with their system and there may be lots of customers who thought (like I did) that their energy bills were being payed and now end up owing lots in back payments.
Anyone else had this issue?

Hi I'm with Sainsburys energy and they are a nightmare. I haven't had your problem but switching to them was a long drawn out process with not being able to submit readings as their website is a disaster and kept crashing.
I'm switching back as soon as I'm 50 days from the end of my tariff. I bet they'll mess that up as well!
Hope you get it sorted.0
