Ok so now it shows me the amount back as money in credit that I can ask for repayment wich means they didn't hit my bank or something like that? Help :j0

Turns out they may have had a big demand and some of us will have to check their accounts and hit the repayment button again but only once even if after u did the request it still shows the money in credit don't do it again allow 24 hours for them to process the request.0

This is a joke now. Been pending since 9th of April, got picked for these extra security checks. They told me it would be sorted by The 7th of June. I've given up ringing them now they don't give u any info. Surely it don't take this long to do checks0

And a few years ago I would agree with you. But & it is a big but, the number of people who are employed like this has gone up massively in the last few years & the number of people employed by HMRC to check this has gone down massively in those same years. It doesn't take a genius to know that if they have to check the same % of claims that it has got to take longer.
So if you want to blame someone then blame the companies that won't employ people properly so they have to pay much more tax than is actually due & then claim it back. Bearing in mind that we all (especially the NHS) lose because they also don't seem to pay employers NI.0 -
