Ryan Air: 2 x £12.99 = £25.99??

Is anyone else getting the same problem?
I recently booked two tickets with Ryan Air at £12.99 each and they charged me £25.99, not £25.98.
Now I know it's only a penny but I have still been overcharged, what's more I've been overcharged by Ryan Air.
At approximately 100m passengers a year this is a very lucrative steal.

I doubt anyone else sees that as a 'problem'.The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

Flouting consumer protection laws is a problem.
100m x 1p = £1,000,000 a year taken from the pockets of consumers.0 -
Do Ryanair do their behind the scenes processing in Euros? If so that might mean that £12.99 converted to Euros, multiplied by 2, and converted back to sterling ends up as £25.99 after rounding. Of course, that could work in the customer's favour too. I very much doubt if they take 1p from every one of their passengers.0

Occasional rounding. It's never affected me so your every passenger pays more hypothesis is flawed.
I bet some get charged a penny less occasionally.0 -
Thanks for comments.
New to forums, I get the point re currency but not rounding.
It's just I have a screenshot which clearly says:
2 x £12.99 = £25.99.
This is clearly incorrect.0 -

Ganga, as I said I'm new to the forums.
I can't make out why you would make such a nasty comment. Is this why you are on the forums?0 -
My, with a reaction like that to Ganga's comment then maybe forums aren't for you. There was nothing nasty about that comment0

You’re right.
I thought this would have been about mutual support particularly when there is sharp practice by a company.
I am mistaken, I see what it is for now.
Thanks for pointing it out.0 -

But you haven't proved that their is any sharp practice. Have you actually asked Ryanair to explain it to you? Maybe they will refund your 1p if you point out the error.0
