  • Afternoon all,

MrsSD My windows need cleaning too, but is it extreme of me to have them replaced instead :D
Right better get on, sorry I have forgotten half of the posts I wanted to reply to. I've got brain fog again !
I shall send the Sandman out tonight for the sleepless, healing thoughts for the poorly, and hugs for the worried or lonely. Take care all.

nannywindow, not extreme at all :rotfl: if I had not had all the doors & windows replaced since we moved in I might consider that option :rotfl:

In the end I failed miserably on my tasks - but did finish cleaning the kitchen cupboard fronts & moving the clutter out of sight + found a few bits & pieces for the cs for delivery when I return from France.

DH was more successful - he did two of his three tasks :)

Have fed the DH & have enough lo to have lunch with a couple of fried eggs & a bit of bacon to bulk it out. Now just the washing up to do

Have a good night everyone. & I hope the Sandman visits those who need him, especially Holly :)

  • Retiredinfrance, thanks for the good wishes for my DSis. Unfortunately she never fully embraced living in France - only went out with her son due to a messy divorce :(. Her husband ended up with DB’s wife  & the wicked c.w wanted to steal my nephew - the b.tch  However the High Court judge saw through the lying ‘rhymes with witch’s lies & my DSis was lucky enough to have accommodation with our parents who had retired to France. It turned out to be a fortuitous move later on as my DSis ended up being nurse/carer when parents became ill. They are both buried together in the local village churchyard

We will be able to visit in future as there is a Kyriad & the area is beautiful but will miss the house & pool :( End of an era as DH & I have holidayed there for 23 years :) & have lots of happy memories as well as a few sad ones :):(:)
My DNeph is staying in France as all his education was there & he has his own place & work.

Sorry to have gone on but the sadness is finally hitting me & sitting here crying as I type

    Thanks again retiredinfrance
