Hi I am not sure if this belongs here but I could not find a more suitable forum on MSE.
Anyway I was wondering as I don't want to spend a lot of money on services like Sky or Virgin. Has anyone dropped those services in favour of services like Netflix or Amazon Prime? If so are there any benefits?

But they are still pay TV are they not? Just probably cheaper and with Neflix and Now TV you can drop in an out monthly.0

The thing is that you can get things like news and other stuff free on YouTube. You are only really paying for sport and stuff which will be free sometime later like movies and TV shows which get repeated on free to air TV channels.0
