Opening a new ISA quickly

Hi folks,
Anyone have experience of a provider that does the ISA process quickly, as in immediately :P? Not the end of the world but I applied for a Nationwide ISA yesterday assuming it would be done immediately and I could deposit. But all I've done is 'applied' and they'll send me details through the post at some point...
If I went along to a branch today, do you think they would have details of my ISA?
I already have a Nationwide current account, so perhaps that would still be my best shot given today is the deadline...
Thanks,
Ed

I opened a Tesco cash ISA recently (as an existing current account customer though) and it appeared online immediately.0

You've had 364 days to open an ISA, this tax year. On day 365 you decide now is the time?
Doesn't answer your question, of course. More just bemusement on my part.0 -
I think you may have missed it.
Slightly surprised that there wasn't an option to nominate your opening funding during the application process, then that would have certainly been in time for the deadline, as it's counted from the date they receive the instruction.
You might be able to sweet talk them into logging it as though you deposited it upon opening yesterday, but they may play the jobsworth card on you.(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0
