Flight and hotel cancelled lastminute.com

Hi,
I booked a flight and hotel through lastminute.com and they cancelled our holiday due to cancelled flights. I received an email saying I would receive an immediate refund. It's been two weeks and no refund. I called them and they said they would refund me once they were refunded by the hotel and flight company (BMI flight and hotel in Austria) They are insistent that this is their only option
Is this normal? okay? I booked through lastminute.com so surely they should give me my refund and then get their money back?

This is normal, they will wait for the refund back from the airline before return the funds to you.
I have waited over 4 weeks previously for a refund on a flight booked directly with the airline...
You could check with the airline if they have processed the refund
I am not aware of any of the online ticket floggers that would refund before they receive the money back from the suppliers0
