Hi
Wondering if anyone can help. Shop Direct (Very) have applied a late/failed payment to my account. I have spoken to them numerous times (worst c/s ever) and they confirmed in the final call in Feb that account was closed. I ordered a washing machine that was broken so they collected and refunded but didnt refund the warranty!
I have now seen a failed payment for them on my creidt file. I called and was advised my account is in credit by £2.83 with them so they dont know and cant help - i need to contact equifax - which I have done. but i am worried now and surely i can speak to shop direct as they allocated the failed payment they have to fix it?!

First off, you need to check all 3 of your credit files to see what has been reported.

You don't need to speak to Equifax as they won't be able to do anything about the late payment - only Very can.
