  • Afternoon all. Just broken off from my toils (stripping that bl**dy kitchen paper off) to see if any news on our HOLLY. Will check in again later.

I am absolutely shattered - too old these days for DIY sadly. When we decided to splash out on a new kitchen I hadn't anticipated the amount of work involved in getting it ready for the workmen descending.

No idea what we are eating tonight but it will be something quick and simple from the freezer to chuck in the oven. I cannot be arrised cooking after the hard day I've had.

Have a nice evening folks xx

Gorgeous day here.I've been on the soggy park with DGS,it was really warm in the sun and it was packed. We had a picnic, and then got an ice cream. The only bad thing was he fell and bumped his head after being a little too adventurous on a balance thingy but he was fine after & it was lovely to spend time together,he's growing up so fast.

Chicken & chips for tea.I might do some more painting afterwards. The living room is almost done,we're pleased with it.The white paint in the hall is a mess and we're hoping the new paint we've got is more wipeable than the last lot as Lylahound tends to shake herself when we come in if shes got wet .I wipe it after but you can see where its been rubbed when the front door opens.

Sending good wishes to Holly, I bet she'll be so glad to be home at last, & thanks to Nelski for keeping us updated .
Hope the hospital appointments went well for everyone.
Right the men are home so I'll finish doing the tea now.Have a good evening everyone xx

    Good evening everyone :hello:

First of all, Welcome Back to Holly, you have certainly been missed on here. Enjoy settling back in to your home and catching up with some tv x

Well, we have sunshine but it's still pretty chilly. Steve has just taken the dogs out for their evening constitutional and I am just relaxing on here for a bit before I watch some tv myself.

Still not sleeping at night and we have the grandchildren sleeping here tonight. I feel I'm going a bit loopy with tiredness but I don't want to take any more meds at the moment so I will just have to get on with it. Sorry for moaning on about it though :o.

The kids have just burst through the door argueing about who is sleeping where so I have to go and sort it out. Hope you all have a pleasant evening, take care xx

Oh Nelski! Blummin heck why can't TPTB get their act together . Sending you extra hugs too. I hope your op can still go ahead and I'm keeping everything crossed for you. xx
