  • Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one, especially Holly, hope everything goes well for you, we are all rooting for you!!

I was up and out the door before 8.30am, back from Aldi just after 9.30, shopping done.

Need to do egg on toast about 11am so we have something to eat before we set off for the hospital for OH's eye op.

Its a lovely bright morning, although there had been a slight frost, had to clear the windscreen before I could set off to Aldi.

Ordered the King Pro, reccys seem to be a bit divided, there was a suggestion that they had rushed production to get extra pots out for Christmas, so fingers crossed they have all gone. If hers is OK , I might order one for myself.

No idea whats for supper depends how OH is when we get home.

    Morning all,

Trying to get through to the vet these days is getting near impossible. I've been trying since they opened at 9.

Grump is settled in his new job in Wales. New school being built, he should be in work for some time.

Spoken to The Blonde One about Divas injections tomorrow which I'll be taking her for.

Spoken to Eldest about witnesses for this feed poll thing.

Beautiful sunny day here, long may it continue.

    Hope today goes well Nelski.

Looking forward to having our Holly back.

    Onwards and forwards.

    Have a great day all.

Frosty start, but lovely and sunny, quite warm too, here today.

I have done my weekly PT session at the gym, pleased with progress, getting some strength back again after being as weak as a kitten, with a tendency to falling over. :(

Eaten brunch and now really sleepy:eek: Some snowdrops in the green that I ordered have arrived, so really need to get them planted while I can see where the existing ones are.

Holly, pleased to learn from Nelski that you should be home today, whole buckets of hugs on their way to you.

Jackie your birthday day out sounds lovely. Csarina best wishes for Mr C's eye op, and I hope that he will somehow morph into a model patient for you.

Nelski good luck with the pre-op, I hope that everything runs on time without delays for you. Specky that sounds like a tough call, best of luck for you achieving it.

TA sounds like a great evening, sorry that Mr TA is struggling this week. Judi you seem to have so much to organise for your family and pets, I hope that Diva is good tomorrow.

Scarlet Ribbons hopefully you will have a chance to catch your breath between young one going home and your planned evening. Gers and camelot has the weather cheered up for you? I hope so.

tiredmum it always makes me smile when you mention Dolly being on neighbourhood watch duty, my friend's Westie does that too. redruby best wishes for your first day without your friend being there, no doubt it will feel very odd. nmlc you lead such a busy life and feed your menfolk so well, thank you for starting us off again.

I picked up a pack of YS chicken this morning in the co-op and thought I might make myself a couple of portions of Thai curry with it, just had a quick look through the Armageddon cupboard and could not find the jar of sauce I thought was there:( I will have to brave looking again, not easy as when I bend or tip my head on one side I am apt to feel dizzy (it does stop me buying too many books in the CS though as I cannot look at them for long:rotfl: silver lining and all that).

Afternoon all, bright and sunny here :T. It's so nice I have all the windows open, hopefully we can now have spring !
Well we have survived the sleepover, just, but we are both knack........ very tired. DD called just before lunch to take the DGC to the dentist for a check up, so I then took the opportunity to take down some curtains ( spare bedroom, kitchen and bathroom ) and put them through the wash. I had already done two clothes washes early this morning.
This afternoon I refuse to move very far from the sofa, although I do have to bring the washing in later.
I really could do with sorting out the garden too, but I'm not up to it today. Perhaps if we have some more sun tomorrow I could do a little tiding / pruning, because despite the bad weather we've had everything seems to have grown, especially the weeds :(.
Tea tonight I have no idea, probably end up with soup and a sandwich. All I know is that it will be an early night for both of us ! Why is it that when we are working we don't seem to have enough time, but when we are retired we have the time, but we don't have enough energy :(.
Hope all the hospital appointments go well today.
Sending healing thought for those who are poorly, including our canine friends.
I have my fingers crossed that Holly makes it home today and is safe, well and happy.
Take care and hugs to all.

Hi chums, well at Bluewater at the moment drinking free coffee and a cake via my freebie voucher :) Have put a rocket up the finance dept about their inability for me to be able to pay my bills online so fingers crossed they will sort it out.

The sun is shining and the sky is blue, bit of a nippy wind, but at least its bright.

Just going to have a mooch around the food hall and see whats reduced hopefully :):) then a slow drive back stopping off on the way to pick up my ordered trousers from the Hempstead Sava centre M&S.

Hope Holly gets home OK and we can give her a good bit of support on here Good luck with the pre-op pre-op Nelski

    Cheers chums

Made it down with only one huge bout of rain which appeared out of nowhere just as I got out the car at Loch Fyne Oyster Bar. It was gone very quickly and I had almost sunshine the rest of the way.

Maddiemay - the weather changes so quickly here!

Nelski - I’m waiting with bated breath for the return of Holly.

TA - sorry to read that MrTA is struggling, I hope he feels better soon.

Just lost a post, so here goes again........

Think of the fun you had with Lizzie Ruby, and be glad for her that she didn't suffer.

JackieO, glad that you sorted out that JL lot, much as I love you, I would not like to be on the receiving end of your temper! Glad that you had such a lovely day in London.

Holly.....I hope that you are reading this at home and that you will take your time settling in again......we are all here if you need an ear.

Csarina....I hope that OH's operation has been z success and that he is his usual patient self in recovery!

TA.....sorry yo hear that Mr TA is not feeling well at present.

We are having spag bol for dinner, SIL has volunteered to cook so I am going to sit back......only 6 for dinner this evening as DGDs 1 and 3 have gone to stay the night with DD4.

Hope that the weather improves for everyone soon.

The Oyster Bar is roughly halfway between my place and DM. She eats a lot of fish (I don’t eat any) so always buy her some salmon and a ready made bagel.

The Rest was very pretty today, all the Munros covered in snow but the low ground clear. I feel very privileged to live somewhere so beautiful. Mind you, I really enjoy being in Glasgow too, just not sure I could live here anymore.

Well, I’ve achieved very little today since arriving. :j I’m hoping for more of the same for the remainder of the day.
