What is included in calculation for PSA ?

I am trying to decide if I should take out a cash ISA or not this year. It appears to be based on whether or not the interest from my savings in a year is over £1000 (as I am a 20% tax payer).
I can make this calculation but do not know if I should include interest earned from PEPs.
Please can anyone advise me.
Many thanks.

Didn't PEPs become S&S ISAs in 2008?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yes, they did, your PEPs will now be a stocks & shares ISA, and as such earnings are not included in the PSA(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0
