I asked the question of Ford money if a new RS was in the offing after May this year. This is the disappointing response:
Thank you for your recent secure message regarding our Regular Saver accounts. We are not currently aware of any plans to introduce another regular saver or a similar product. If we do release another Regular Saver all the information will be available on our website, https://www.fordmoney.co.uk. If there´s anything else we can help you with, please visit our online Help Centre.

You may be disappointed about this, but they are free to choose which accounts to offer and which not to. Is this really worthy of starting a thread? "No news here".0

You should ask Halifax when they plan to relaunch their 12% regular saver rate ....0

Thanks, useful to know in planning for what to do cash-ISA wise this coming year. The Nottingham Starter ISA is looking more attractive if Ford are not planning anything."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -

Nope! Didn’t miss the point, ignored it!
No replacement Ford RS was news to me.0 -
I hardly think outsourced customer service staff would have any idea what FM management plans are for 7 weeks time. Even if there was any such plans, they are not going to make it public knowledge so far into the future in case market conditions change.Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -
They've not long ceased manufacturing the mk3, and with the new shape Focus being released this year, I doubt we'll see another RS for a couple of years.
You could try the Type R if you're looking to generate more interest.0 -
