Thank you everyone for your replies and links. The boiler grants link was very useful as I remember the lady that rang, used the word eco as an an acronym. Having read through a few webpages, I'm not convinced that I would qualify anyway, so will try and explain that to them should they call back over the next few days.paydbx2026 #19 £1499/£6000 . It is very strange!
Do MSE staff work into the evening? I don't know whether or not board guides have access to MSE staff. If they do, is it possible to check that nothing untoward is happening?0 -

Yet when my Grandmother who received pension credit was approached and signed up,she didn't get a free boiler, even though hers was several years old. She wasn't deemed to 'need' one. If this is still the case, you won't automatically get a new boiler. This would have happened within the last 10 years and her boiler been over 9 years old.0

It does happen, BG's cannot delete individual post, but if someone reports a post then it seems that on occasion they just get removed by MSE.
I will keep an eye on this and contact the forum team if I feel its necessary.
HTH?
Meanwhile heres a link to the ECO grants page.

Thank you.
And I understand the issues you face as a BG. What more do you need to contact MSE towers (!)? There are posters on this forum giving incorrect information/who have multiple log ins and are disrupting the running of the forum. Meanwhile knowledgable posters are having their posts deleted on what seems a whim
Totally not your fault but this is getting out of hand. What do you need from us to get some (positive) action in dealing with the (possibly) damaging misinformation being peddled here.
To be clear, I am on your side!0
