Put it this way, if you approach Halifax in a similar manner to the way you've approached this thread they'll probably hang up on you.
If you've got it in you, a conciliatory mindset is most likely to get the result you want.0 -
Try learning some grammar before you try to give people English lessons.
So far you've attacked someone who's tried to help you and moaned about the forum.
Why don't you grow up, stop whingeing, and pay your debts?
Now that's an attitude.

Tells me to grow up and proceeds with that. Oh the hypocrisy. :')
No one here is whinging, but thank you for confirming my earlier statements.0 -

Oh dear, you've come up against the same people I did. These guys will try and crucify you with judgement, I've had similar issues, there is a severe lack of empathy. I wouldn't necessarily call them trolls as I think over the years they may have given some people good advice, but they will judge you on all aspects of your life if you let them and they do seem to thrive on drawing angry/annoyed responses from people. I am not sure this is the sentiment the MSE and forum was set up on but it is what it is...
I am terrible with money (as the guys you have come up against on here will testify) but perhaps the best thing to do is call Halifax back and find out what is going on. Good luck.0 -

Yeah it's certainly not what I expected from this forum. I'm not annoyed, I'm just after helpful responses that aren't rife with judgement.
Thanks bud, if it helps, I'm clearly not good either. But yeah, changes in career haven't exactly helped things! I'll give them a call tomorrow and see where we're at.0 -

Sounds like a very familiar scenario. I also said something similar to these guys not that long ago, weirdly about a halifax card. Good luck and I hope you do get it sorted. Sometimes these things just take time and I know the guys on the other end of the phone at Halifax are usually pretty friendly when dealing with this stuff.0 -
You're idea of "helpful responses" appears to be anything that massages your ego and doesn't challenge your view of the world. Then they're your "bud".
Anyone else has an attitude, is a troll, etc and their opinion is dismissed as "judgement".
Haha, again, just wow. MSE's resident psychologist at work.
Also, it's your. You're is short for "you are". Another English lesson for you.0
