Help and advice Virgin Media wifi issue and router
Some customers who use Virgin Media’s latest SuperHub 3.0 (ARRIS TG2492S/CE) broadband router have spotted that the new kit appears to suffer from an unusual problem when running in modem mode, which causes the related Ethernet port to stop working for a few seconds every 35 minutes or so.
Hmm, yes well, that appears to be a quote from ISPreview in Feb 2016. Looking at a monstrous VM forum thread, it looks fixed towards the end of 2016.
AFAIK and easy to miss stuff in mega-threads, the remaining SH3 issue is latency for gamers, blamed on some duff chip. Allegedly even that has a current beta test workaround amongst the VM cognoscenti with a roll out to us mere mortals RSN.
