No coverage from O2

  • Lesson learned I guess if I have to ever move again and have the luxury to choose the location myself.
Now I see that the solution will be to change devices to one that supports wifi calling, even though my old iPhone 5 something works perfectly.
    What a joke.

But...why do they lie and blame a faulty tower/mast instead of saying: Yeah, we have poor coverage right where you are, deal with it.

Most companies lie. Of course, it could be true.

There are signal boosters you can get but they are not cheap.

I think if it were me I would go into a local 02 shop and quiz them on it, find out if they are willing to offer you a booster if onky while the mast is being 'fixed'.

But...why do they lie and blame a faulty tower/mast...

All the way through this thread you've accused o2 of lying because of a friend's unproven anecdotal evidence. Cellphone masts do develop faults you know and they can't always be repaired as fast as one would like.
