Paypal F&F dispute NAD but not ebay

I sold a coat through facebook recently via paypal paid via friends and family. The item was BNIB, with size label attached.
The buyer has now opened a dispute through paypal saying the item is not as described.
The advert clearly stated the size, therefore the buyer knew the size before buying it so I don't see that I am to blame if they have decided that it now doesn't fit them.
I can't see how it can be item not as described and I do not want to accept a return. Do I need to accept a refund? The price included postage, I don't want to be out of pocket for the postage costs too if I have to accept a refund.
Any ideas?
TIA

No. If paid through F&F the buyer has no protection so a Paypal claim will fail. The only options they could use is to claim a fraudulent transaction on their account or a card chargeback if funded that way either of which is likely to get their account shut down.

Thank you, so how can they open a item not as described dispute through PP? I have replied stating size was clearly shown on the item and on the advert so they knew the size before buying. Anything else I should do?
The buyer has insisted I accept it back and says she has posted it. I do not wish to accept it back and give her refund.

Just say that as a gesture of goodwill, you will refund the cost of the item, but as it was perfectly as described and it was a private sale (not a business) you will not be refunding postage.

Say that if this is not acceptable, they need to pay £x to have the item resent to them.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

The OP has stated she doesn’t want to accept the return?

OP, just ignore the request (or reject it, I’ve never had a dispute with a f&f payment so not sure exactly how it works), you’re under no obligation to accept it.

The buyer has insisted I accept it back and says she has posted it.That is their problem if they have posted it.
I do not wish to accept it back and give her refund. Don't then, there is no way they can force a refund with F&F.

I appreciate that, but as the buyer has already sent it back, then refunding less the postage is a simple option, even if it i not what they wanted.

I didn’t know you could dispute a f&f PayPal payment.

I guess the dispute service is for communication purposes only.

Buyer had already sent it back? So what? That!!!8217;s not the OPs problem. If they have sent it back (and I would be inclined not to believe them at this stage), I would just reject the delivery and not be bullied into refunding.

Neither did I!? But PP says they have put a temporary hold on my account (even though there's a zero balance on it)
I shall wait and check if it is returned

I thought you could not sell items using F&F for payment?
