You do not need to show us a pic of the PCN. Are you saying it DOES mention the POFA on the back?

If so, norty norty, very norty of PE, who can be reported to the BPA and DVLA for that!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No it doesn't mention POFA anywhere on the letter.

Good, assuming you mean NTK and not a reminder letter. You really need to confirm this.

If it is the NTK then you await the rejection and PoPLA code. You then construct a PoPLA appeal using all the relevant points available from post 3 of the NEWBIES. Your winning point will be non POFA compliant NTK.

Post your draft here for checking before you submit it.

I told you earlier to compare yours to the one shown in the NEWBIES thread. SNAP!

So why did you say you didn't have a Golden ticket? I don't understand why this is so hard.

I'm sorry, just getting my self worked up and trying to take in all the information. First and hopefully last time having to deal with something like this so it isn't coming easily.

Good morning, I am sorry I have not updated this thread. On Thursday afternoon I received an email from ParkingEye saying that the charge had been put on hold for 28 days as I was not the driver, to allow me to give further evidence, ie who was driving. If I don't provide further evidence the appeal may be rejected and a POPLA code provided.

I am pretty sure I shouldn't give them the drivers details but do I state that I won't be giving the drivers details, state that they took 17 days to raise the charge, ie over the required 14 days, just ignore and wait for the code or do something else? Thanks again.

You wait for your PoPLA code, construct your draft appeal when you get it, post your draft here for checking, and submit the appeal once the regulars have said it is OK, you stop worrying, and you WIN.

Please also complain to your MP and Sir Greg Knight MP.

These are some of the comments made by the MPs in Parliament concerning the unregulated parking industry (Feb 2018):

    https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2018-02-02/debates/CC84AF5E-AC6E-4E14-81B1-066E6A892807/Parking(CodeOfPractice)Bill

''Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice''; unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse; harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice; outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices; ''the British Parking Association is as much use as a multi-storey car park in the Gobi desert''; and finally, by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists and ordinary residents should not have to put up with this''.

These are the exact words used, so you should quote them to your MP in a complaint and ask him/her to contact Sir Greg Knight MP if he wants further information about this scam.

These complaints are very, VERY important.

You should also tell all your friends and family to come here if they get an unfair PCN.
