Parkingeye charge

Hi, just after some advise as I think I may have approached this the wrong way !!!128542;. My partner had a job picking up from the park inn heathrow. She pulled in 5 minutes before pickup time and after a couple of minutes received a call saying they were running about 30 minutes late (they were guests at the hotel the night before). She went in and asked at reception if she was ok to wait or needed to pay for parking, the man on reception said she was ok to wait for them without paying, she did state they would be about 30 minutes, maybe a little more. She moved to a parking space so she didn’t block the hotel entrance. We then received the parking charge and I called the hotel, who told me to email the manager, which I have done and am still waiting for a reply! I also appealed using the instructions on the back of the charge letter but I think I have made a mistake not going through BPA? The date for the reduced amount is tomorrow so should I just pay the reduced amount or if the appeal is rejected will we still be able to pay the reduced amount as it stated the appeal could take 28 days, which is still about 3 weeks away!

No-one cares about the 14 day date for 'reduced payment; so forget it.The date for the reduced amount is tomorrow so should I just pay the reduced amount or if the appeal is rejected
NO YOU CANNOT PAY THEN APPEAL/COMPLAIN.
You will not be paying a penny. Do not pay.
With BPA firms the registered keeper has 28 days to appeal, and the registered keeper does this (is that you or your partner?) NOT SAYING WHO WAS DRIVING.
See the NEWBIES thread, template appeal there; you have two weeks, loads of time.
Did I say, DO NOT PAY, FORGET THE STUPID 14 DAYS CRAP!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you, I have read this but am still a little worried, I appealed on their website but I didn’t use the template. I appealed as the registered keeper and did not give my partners name but I’m still panicking! I also didn’t take a screenshot of the website saying it would take upto 28 days. If I try to logon to their site again will it say I have appealed to allow me to take a screenshot? Do I just need to wait now and not worry? Sorry for all the questions.0

Sorry I should also say the date was at the start of March.0

how long between the incident date and the NTK arriving in the post ?
they have 35 days (not 28 days) to make a decision on your appeal, its in the BPA CoP
ps:- you do not appeal through the BPA, appealing as keeper to PE was correct0 -
The incident was on the 4th, PCN issued on 21st and I appealed 28th, I can!!!8217;t remember the date it arrived in the post but it was a couple of days before I appealed.0

If you appealed and admitted you were the driver, then the date point that would have meant they could not pursue you as keeper has gone out of the window.
If, however, you have not identified the driver, then come back and we can get you off on out of time.0 -
I did not identify my partners name (the driver) just me, the registered keeper.0

So you have a Golden Ticket, as you should already know, having read post #3 of the NEWBIES thread where one is shown. The incident was on the 4th, PCN issued on 21st
You CANNOT LOSE as long as the driver is not admitted.
Why didn't you start your thread here saying:
'I have a Golden Ticket like the one shown in the NEWBIES thread, yay' !!!!!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

stay as keeper and they lose on POFA2012, what is known on here as a golden ticket
read up about this aspect in the NEWBIES Faq sticky thread
its likely that you will have to appeal to popla aso look for recent winning popla appeals based on POFA2012 and no keeper liability
at this point nobody cares what the driver did or didnt do, so keep it that way , if the hotel cancels it then even better
stop worrying , play the game and win on a technicality0 -
Thanks, I was worried because I hadn!!!8217;t used a template but I will just sit it out and wait for a popla appeal. Feeling happier now !!!55357;!!!56836;0
