Paid too much into Help to buy ISA

I needed additional money while abroad last week, so withdrew £500 from my Help to Buy, I returned it 3 days later, realising this may not have been the best idea considering the £200 monthly max. What will likely happen in this case and should I do anything to rectify the situation?

The bank should reject the excess and return the money to the account they came from. If you want piece of mind you could contact the bank but there shouldn't be any need to do so.Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0
