Hope to see you soon Hollie.

HH if I were you I'd rebel and tell CHS you wanted to stay put. Could you not steer and let him do the locks if you move?

Dumpling, I'm so glad DD and her friends got their belongings back.

DD has arrived in Tokyo, apparently the blossom is early this year so I hope they still see some good displays.

It's sunny at the moment but set to rain later so I will sent DH out with Ziggypup so I can do a much needed Friday tidy.

    Morning all,

Dry here atm but rain due later and set in for most of the weekend I think, I had some washing over the airer in front of the fire over night and Im just giving it 5 mins in the TD and then it can go away, I will then put the bedding onto wash , Ive stripped the spare bed and asked OH to strip ours once he is out of it !! will get it washed and dried today and OH can re-make them later.

I phoned the surgery yesterday and the receptionist went through my results, all normal  I asked her to check again and I could not believe it !! I still have an appointment with my Dr a week Monday so will go and discuss what to do next, I am now assuming its my work doing this to me, it is a very stressful job (although I love it) and sometimes we have up to 11 clients and two staff members who are running a cafe as well !!
Anyway I rang and spoke to my boss and kept her up to date, I have decided to go back to work Monday on the understanding that I wont be doing seven days and that I will be going home if it all gets too much again. The whole job will change dramatically in a month or so when they are opening a brand new building with new cafe / shop / client facilities etc, I am going to be running the clients cafe which is much quieter and no public allowed so me and a colleague will be working in there which should be a lot less demanding. Although if it still as exhausting I shall have to look for alternative work.

OH and I are going to Aldi today to get some bits of shopping for the week I want to get a nice dinner for tonight before the youngsters come back tomorrow and our peace is shattered :rotfl:I have also done a click and collect from sainsbugs to take advantage of the £1.50 Prosecco gitch as per Martins e-mail. The Prosecco will always come in handy :D

Right I had better get on have good days all xx

    Morning all,

A big thank you for my birthday greetings. I didn't mean to write an essay but it just came out.

Grump reminded me it's our wedding anniversary today. I didn't need reminding.

Haven't got anything planned and the weather isn't exactly brilliant so a day in it is for us. Just as well really as Grump needs to find accommodation for Tuesday.

    Onwards and forwards

    Have a great day all

    Good morning, just !
The weather continues to be damp and dreary and the parade was rained off yesterday :(. It was a shame that all those Easter bonnets had been made and not worn around the village as some of them were really OTT. Anyway DGC were collected and tea was lovely, as everyone was happy. Even my Dad was telling jokes . DGC took their Easter eggs home as we will not see them again until lunch on Monday, just hope we haven't got snow again. Even I'm officially fed up with the weather now !
Today I have stripped the bed and the WM is doing it's thing, however there is no chance of it going out on the whirly and judging by the forecast, the only dryish day we'll have over the weekend, is Sunday, so inside drying it is then. I was also roped in as Mr Fix It's gofer....... er assistant while he fixed the toilet flush. We are now all systems go, every time, instead of intermittently :D.
This afternoon I shall remake the bed and clean the bedroom, then it's tools down and we will be watching the new Spiderman film. May even break out the spare Easter eggs. ( bought 4 on offer so there are two spare ;):D:D )
Tea tonight will be bacon and egg etc and some leftover scones for pudding.
    Judi Happy Anniversary.
    JackieO enjoy those baby cuddles.
Tiredmum glad you enjoyed your hols.
RedRuby I hope things go as you need them to when you return to work.
TA I must get my eyes tested because I read you had a new loo seat. I thought it strange that it was in pieces in a box
Hope everyone has a good Friday. Hugs to all.

redruby, I'm sorry you have no answers yet, hopefully your doctor will do a little more investigation before putting it down to your life.

I don't think I've turned my TV on this week!
I doubt you've missed anything interesting. Mr LW chooses all our viewing, and I can honestly say that 99% of what he selects is utter piffle.
Happy Anniversary to Judi & Grump
Redruby don't despair; the blood tests will have eliminated some possibilities as to what's wrong, so you and the GP can then look at what remains to find the answer. x

Fingers crossed that Holly is back with us soon; I am cautiously hopeful having seen Nelski's post yesterday.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Happy Anniversary JUDI and GRUMP.

    Welcome back TIREDMUM.

RR maybe at the root of the problem is the 7 day working week. That's 2 days too much for anybody and nobody should be expected to do it.
