UKPC sent a charge for 25/02/18 for vehicle owner/driver left site sent 7/3/18 and received 13/03/18.
I then received a day later on the14th March the same charge for 1st March.
I had not seen this forum on MSE and have sent details of the driver (me) to their !!!8216;Appeals!!!8217; as it must have recently changed from 2 hours free parking and I have been parking here once a week for the past year.
Unfortunately although the change in terms and conditions were not highlighted and I obviously did not know the terms had changed I just parked where I normally had been for the past year. After receiving charge I checked the sign, it does NOW say !!!8216;Important. if you leave this site whilst this vehicle remains in the car park you may be liable to receive a parking charge!!!8217;.
I panicked and wrote saying I was driving and that if I had of received the first notice in fair time I would not have got the other one. And say I could pay the first only.
I then received a THIRD separate charge for 8th March, received 22nd March.
PLEASE ADVISE.
Reading previous threads, I see we should never have given them information on me, the driver as It had been sen to the owner, my husband. But that!!!8217;s too late now.
I also see the first charge is after 14 days so does this make this one null and void?
I currently have 3 charges totalling £180 if I pay now but all for the same offence over 3 separate weeks.
Is there anything I can do part from not paying the first charge because that was over 14 days between !!!8216;offence!!!8217; and receiving. Although if this had been received swiftly, then the other 2 would have been avoided?
I REALLY WISH I HAD SEEN THIS SITE FIRST.
They have my details of the 3 charges as the driver sent a week a go on 22 March and I am still waiting a response but am concerned as this is a lot of money to me.
Please help.

people always seem to think that these invoices can be made "null and void" by some magic trick, its an urban myth

appeal each one using the template letter in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread , as keeper for the new ones (not as driver)

then if they fail to cancel take it to popla

and read the BPA CoP about new signs and their obligations under that BPA CoP

and give that NEWBIES FAQ thread a good read , slowly

Not void, but it would have been impossible for them to hold a keeper appellant liable. But with the first one you appealed as 'driver' you threw that baby out with the bathwater already.
    vehicle owner/driver left site
Appeal them all asking for evidence that the driver left the site, and where the boundary of 'the site' was shown on a map on the signs. DO NOT add words of your won, no asking for proof that 'I' left the site, nor saying 'I only went...'

If there are some you have NOT appealed yet, appeal them in the name of the registered keeper, NOT choosing 'driver' of course, for those ones. Same appeal as above, and if they were windscreen PCNs you WAIT UNTIL DAY 26, as explained in the NEWBIES thread already.

As you get POPLA codes, come back here. If you are at that stage with the first one, search the forum for keywords: POPLA left site or POPLA abused patron parking and copy one and adapt it. Obviously fo the first one you must continue to appeal as driver but as long as you didn't blab about leaving the site and admitted that as well(!) you can win on the basis they will have no evidence.

See this thread for a similar case, now won:
