Hyde & Sleep matress

Options
Curious to know where to go with this. Have a Hyde and Sleep matress that is probably about 1 year or just under, old. It now has a slight dip in it but its enough to be annoying at night that you end up in that dip. Speaking to them about the issue because of the warranty and they keep asking us to take photos.

Took one set the best we can to show the dip that isn't obviously visible but VERY noticeable while sleeping. It appears, from what I can tell, they want it to be visible to honour the warranty (I could be assuming) but again, it's not possible. When not sleeping on it, its almost impossible to see. Yet they've asked for more photos.

We've already sent them a photo showing, the best we can the matress losing it's shape. With a rule at the end of the bed you can see it no longer lies flat. Put the ruler at the head of the bed at the same edge and it lies flat. For my eyes, that shows a dip.

I'm now wondering if they'll claim this:

"Over time your mattress will respond to your body’s weight and your memory foam layer will settle. FIRA (The Furniture Industry Research Association) suggests that your mattress might settle to a 3.5cm in your first year. If you feel that the settlement is excessive then please do not hesitate to contact our quality control team"

Which is on there website.

Also what is the rule for spilt tea on the matress? This isn't what we are claiming under the warranty, we are claiming for excessive dip. Considering it cost £500+ it's not great. And surely they can't not honour the warranty because of spilt tea that has nothing to do with the issue. As surely they can't resell the matress.

So yes they can void due to damage tea spilt etc .

Consumer Rights your rights under the law not the makers or sellers warranty .As its over 6 months old its up to you to proof your claim if asked via an independent report .
