For this I am being demonised on here...
I don't think you are being "demonised". I think that you are trying to assert certain things about the TVL situation that are either untrue or unpopular, and you are getting responses along those lines.
... suggested by Cornucopia that not only should I NOT place myself on your doorstep and face assault but I am committing civil "tort " ( he thinks he s a lawyer ) of trespass.
Once again, I made those comments about Capita. You might like to gloss over the distinction between MDS and Capita (though I can't really understand why), but I am clear on the difference. The term "civil tort of trespass" is legally accurate. It is applicable to the situation where another member of the Public is trespassing on your property. And TVL staff are merely members of the public, who will be trespassing if they attend premises where they have been banned, or if the householder tells them to leave and they do not do so immediately.
For the past few years its is his hobby to work out how to write legalise guff to try and talk down to anyone who dares to suggest he s wrong or even question his motives. He s supposed to be impartial but hes any thing but

When it gets personal, I don't really have any option but to close the thread. My motives (such as they are) are to assist MSE members with any queries they may have within the subject areas I have knowledge of.

There isn't a requirement for me to be impartial, as such. I am allowed my own opinions, though having said that the vast majority of information I post on TV Licensing is factual and referenceable. Rather than railing against it, why not ask for the detail so you can better understand this rather unpleasant can of worms.
