Colour of the skin is not important. The ability to have a stretched version is the key thing as the thin version is awful to look at on widescreen or ultra wide monitors.

I wasn't aware there were two versions? I'm on the blue version which seems OK to me? But I have never experienced the green version. So can't compare.
