Holiday price reduced after booking

Just wondering if anyone has successfully got a price match after booking. I booked with First Choice at 3700 and now price or exact holiday is 3100. Do to think there's any chance of pleading for a price match or perhaps a free upgrade on plane. I would welcome any success stores before I try!!

Once you've booked a holiday, don't go back and check again. It's pointless!
Unless they offer a price guarantee it's unlikely they'll do anything at all.0 -
Upgrade on plane to what? It'll be a charter and you'll all be in cattle class.0

If it went up in price would you be willing to pay the extra?0

That is just the way it is. You should not have looked back and checked the price again.0

There may be a Premium cabin depending where the OP is flying to.0 -
Its always worth asking without demanding or expectation. Ive had success and plenty of failure in similar situations.0

How much would you 'lose' if you cancel the existing booking? If it is less than £600, could you cancel and rebook at the lower price...0

Why would TUI "price match" their own holiday at a lesser cost and give a £600 refund ?
As for seats upgrade - TUI don't do free anything.0 -
