May sell up but most aren't. Some may sell one or two properties to pay down loans on others but other landlords are picking those up.

How do you know this, for the entire country?

Houses/flats don`t disappear into another time dimension when a landlord sells them ;)

I'm a landlord and I converse with landlords throughout the country.

Most people renting could afford the mortgage what they don't have is the deposit. Those that don't have the deposit now won't have the deposit IF house prices drop.

Why will conversing with them mean I learn where the magic money tree is? I'm assuming that's where they'll suddenly find the money for a deposit from.

There are a small minority that are shouting, but the vast majority are relatively unaffected or adapting... By the way conversing with landlords does not mean reading property118... Im totally with Shirlgirl, very few are totally exiting and only willing to sell at a relatively decent price to protect themselves rather than being particularly forced.

I also don't believe any landlord would be able to put up with your incessant rantings about a crash for years....

Return to a thread and see yet again crashy has ruined it.

If everyone ignored or blocked him he would go back to his lonely one bed rented bed sit and post his nonsense somewhere else.

Crashy you didn't reply do you want the number of someone who works at my place he is just like you and posts rubbish as he has nothing else to do or concentrate on and is so bitter he hasnt bought a place by late forties?

I don't know why I'm asking as I know I'll see a post from crashy in the form of a link to a house price crash website instead.

Looks like more and more people are getting lost on the way to the magic money tree ;)
