I totally understand how you feel cindiedunkley.

I ust posted a big reply but it has disappeared. Arggghh!!! I'll keep this one a bit shorter.

The same thing happened to my dad on saturday night at 7pm. He was walking down to his house after going for a walk around the block and 3 people that live 3 doors away jumped in their car, drove down and blocked my dads driveway so he could not get in. The woman that was in the back started shouting 'Get off the fuc**** pavement or im going to fuc**** kill you. She jumped out of the car and started hitting my dad on the head with the heal of her high heel shoes. The other 2 jumped out knocked him to the ground and repeatedly kicked him in the head and chest.

The mother who was still in their house came out and shouted ' you can stop now, he's had enough'. They jumped in the car and drove off.

My dad got himself into the house and as noone was home called the police. The police sent an ambulance and by the time they arrived my dad had just died on the carpet from a heart attack. Luckily they got him in time and he is now in hospital recovering.

The police have been no use whatsoever, did not ask if he wanted to charge them, just that they will come back to see him in a few weeks time.

Sorry for the rant but reading your post has made me so angry that people can get away with acting like this.

I hope that your son is OK and these people get what they deserve.

that is terrible. woman or not,had i been there she would have been finding out what a palm strike can do to someones nose!!

how his recovery is going well
  • Thank you buxtonrabbitgreen, he is going to be ok but i fear that this is going to affect him for the rest of his life. He says he will not step another foot outside his front door. All because of 3 ars******.
  • Yes Custardy they are very glad I was not there i can tell you. There was one woman and 2 men. He did actually admit that he did pull the womans hair while she was hitting him with her shoe. He had to do something to defend himself but didnt help him much as the other 2 jumped on him.

I know its not the right thing to do but if the police do not do their job, there are plenty of people who will not let this go.

I have pressed the thank you button for your post custardy but it doesnt seem to be showing.

well as far as im concerned nowadays there are not enough police and they are hindered by red tape and too many crying over civil liberties for those commiting the crimes than the victims.
ive chosen to empower myself with some skills to at a minimum improve my chance of surviving attacks like this.
and at best show them the error of their ways ;)

What your father suffered was soooo much worse than what my son has expirienced. And I hope that your father makes a full recovery.
If these thugs that attacked my son are left unchallenged by the police or the courts then I am certain they will progress to more violent and horrific crimes and there will be more and more victims like your father. I am so disillusioned with the police that I feel that it is hardly worth our while even calling them. They make you feel like your wasting their time or that you are a burden. It needs a social revolution by the law abiding people of this country and by that I don't mean middle class white people, I mean everyone who knows the difference between right and wrong.

If my son had attacked someone I would be arrested because I would give my son a taste of his own medicine.

I am appalled at what goes on these days. My thoughts are with you and your son and also the others who have posted with similar situations.
At some stage, I think all decent peple are going to have to stand up and be counted. The scumbags seem to be winning hands down at the moment and the police do not seem able/or willing to really tackle it head on..
Thank you for this site :jNow OH and I are both retired, MSE is a Godsend
  • It was bad cindie but who knows what anyone is capable of. Some people do not know when to stop and that could have easily been your son (thank god it wasnt).

I agree it feels like we are wasting their time, but if we dont call them more and more people will think they can get away with this appalling behaviour. Saying that, the way the police are dealing with things they may as well let them off with it.

    I am sooooooooooooooo angry!!!!!!!!!!!!

It just gets worse, doesnt it ?

I am so sorry to hear of your sons ordeal we are promised action on these ferral children time and time again and it never happens.

Likewise when people take it upon themselves to deal with these pathetic creatures what happens? Oh ,yes the Police turn up then alright !!!!

It makes you very angry and then just upset and despairing to see what is happening daily in our country.
Away with the fairies.... Back soon
