Morning.
Finally broken up for half term and now have a lovely 10 day break, only pottering at home but the rest is needed.
7 days until payday and i'm skinter than a skint thing, I have a small grocery order coming from Mr M tomorrow which is around £60 which will have to do us as that is all the grocery budget gone, I have meal planned for the week and will just have to streeetch everything out, I'm down to 5 dishwasher tabs and havn't ordered anymore as it was either these or toilet roll, so will just put messy stuff through the dishwasher and will wash cups and glasses by hand as I have plenty of washing up liquid. Taken some stewed apples and rhubarb out of the freezer and will make a crumble for pud tonight which we will have with ice cream as we seem to have 3 opened tubs, this is the only problem with having 2 huge chest freezers nobody wants to dig down and find stuff so just use the first they come to, also found some roasted tomato and garlic pasta sauce I made last year from MIL tomato glut so having that tonight and will bung in some chorizo and red peppers that are in the fridge and make a green salad to go with it, found a block of Lancashire cheese so will have that crumbled on the pasta and also found a lemon cake loaf so have taken that out and will have this afternoon. Breakfast this morning has been poached eggs on toast as the chickens are laying for England at the moment and I can't use them up fast enough.
Have had a couple of survey payments this week, £10 from pan£lbase and £15 from survey b0ds which have gone into the holiday pot, also a £5 prepaid CC from a I$ay which has gone onto DS lunch account so he can eat today (only joking I would have put money on for him).
DD is at the opticians in town this afternoon and apart from car parking and getting some fuel I am not buying anything.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and enjoys the weekend x0 -
Jealous of your fresh eggs! Wish I had space for chickens.

I love my chickens we only have 6 and get 3-4 eggs a day so we eat a lot of egg based dishes and do a lot of baking.
Hope you have a lovely half term to xHave a good half term x

Morning I have again been wide awake since 5.30am, so got up and pottered around in the kitchen and caught up on some surveys, have redeemed a £10 pre paid CC from swagbucks and redeemed a £5 one from isay, so a good start to the day.
Mr M order has been delivered and put away and I have made a Victoria sandwich cake and a chocolate chip loaf cake, just need to make a quiche now for tomorrows lunch.Taken some mince beef out of the freezer as i'm going to make koftas to go in pitta bread with salad for tomorrow's tea.
2nd load of washing is out on the line and have another load in the washing machine just means I'm going to have a pile of ironing to do now.
Off to do some ebay listing, have a good day xx0 -

Hi debtfreeoneday, We were debt free but we decided to buy a cottage to rent out, fortunately we paid cash for the cottage so nothing owing there (paid for with insurance money after illness) but needed to borrow some to pay for fees etc so currently owe just over 3k, tenants move in soon so we can start paying this back and once its paid we will have an extra £500 a month coming in.0 -
Not been posting on my diary this week as I have felt really flat, I have made a docs appointment for Tuesday to review my medication and will talk to him about down i'm feeling, I've also been eating really badly this week, drinking to much and not having enough water and fresh fruit which I know always effects me, so decided on AF weekend.
On a more positive note it's payday, plans for today are to go into town and get a few bits, I want to get some black dye to try and rescue my sketchers pumps, they are black and I put them through the wash as I had spilt oil on them and now they are more grey but the oil came out, they are so comfy and I love them so really need to see if I can rescue them before buying new.
Need to go to boots as I have a voucher for 20% off suncream and DS skin can be funny with suncream and I find boots kids suncream is ok for him so will go and get a couple of bottles for his trip to Africa. DD also needs so more kalms as she is back to GCSEs on Monday, don't know if its subliminal but she seems to think they work so i'm happy to buy them to have a less stressed out daughter. Then onto lidl for a small foodshop.
Car also going in for dreaded MOT this afternoon, I know it will need a couple of things and I've budgeted £200 so fingers crossed.
£10 redeemed from a survey site this morning, budget for the month done, could do with making some money on ebay so have set a target of £300:eek:, this is so I can put some spending money away for holidays this summer, I have also written a list of things that will need buying/paying for over the summer.
Better go and get showered and dressed, have a good dayxx0 -
