Windows update KB4074588 has caused problems with USB (and other) connections.
See attached link which describes the problem and how to resolve it.

It doesn't just affect Logitech devices but their answer is the one that came to hand.
Hope this helps.0 -
Another thing to try ... go into 'Device Manager', go down to the 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers', right click on each of them and delete them (Uninstall device)
Windows will re-install them itself when needed ...0 -
Probably unrelated but Windows 10 has been messing me about with USB 3 controller drivers. The inbuilt Intel USB 3 ports stopped working reliably so I fitted a USB 3 card which I'd used in a different machine and that fixed the problem. Just recently (probably after a update) the add on card won't work and is showing an error in device manager. Fortunately the inbuilt Intel ports have started working again....0

Yes have rebooted and it is reappearing and computor works as normal except no USB's0 -
One possibility I've not seen suggested is simply power.
If the op is plugging in various devices that draw power, especially if the iphone is trying to charge it could be tripping the USB chipsets internal fusing (which can require a reboot to reset).
It shouldn't do in this day and age, with modern USB chipsets and intelligent charging but it did used to be a fairly common problem.
If it's only happening when high current USB devices are connected (phone charging etc) I'd look into that possibility, if it's happening when only low power devices are connected (mice, keyboards, things that have their own power supplies) you can pretty much rule out a USB power issue.0
