    I think 6 months is the absolute maximum ds1980 after which solicitors just won't accept the searches. There's also a special form for the searches that has something to do with the HIP.

    My LA had indicated that they might be in a position to offer a free update on my searches for my HIP. Whether that is really financially feasible for them, I don't know.

    I have had epc which was one of the best ones he had done on any property!!! My searches will go in that are now too old and we'll wait and see!

    Other than that those forms you pointed me to have gone in is that it? Who do i give it to???

    As for who you give it to, I have no idea! Mine is sat in the bookshelf, LOL.
    I guess my buyer's solicitor will ask for it at some point! Your EA will need your EPC graphs for the brochure.

    I hope it's of some use, but I'm just bout to rder a HIPs pack from a company called monkeymove for £299 including VAT. I'm selling a 3 bed semi, if that makes a difference?!

    I can recommend a company doing HIPs for £250.00 plus VAT.

    My Mistake, there website (somewhere) states that you have to use them for your solicitor to get that price.

    tom whos hrc? being thick here, coz ive wised up to my estate agent thaT wants me to take out a energy report with him at £300.! but if i can get teh whole hip thing for a bit more i need to sort it. by the way guys how much should i be being charged just for a energy report?
