Bosch, Siemens and Neff are all from the same parent mega-global-corp. Just don't buy bottom of the range.

I have a Siemens dishwasher and very happy with it. Runs very quietly, and does a great job.

I too go with Bosch. Replaced a Hotpoint with one and never looked back. Supposed to be cold fill but we fill from hot water and works well. Daughter had one for 15 years and replaced with a similar updated model. Good reviews. Good long term support and customer service. Probably about best value. Spares from Bosch similar prices to discount suppliers - if you ever need them- but non of them cheap!
Isn’t there a risk of washing woollens/delicates at 50 deg the typical temperature of hot water coming out of a gas boiler? My hot water is set to 60 deg.

I had a miele for 14 years. Decided to change for Bosch, which is ok but i do prefer miele. But either way no problems with either.

    Possibly Yes
However i think if you wash your woollens in your dishwasher, you may have other issues to deal with first!

Indecit de73 bought June 2001 still going.

Did an upgrade to metal filter from plastic
Got through a few upper basket back seals(£2each)
had to manually clean the spray bars when they got bits in.

some of the plastic has worn on the baskets and they do go rusty
The door seal came lose one side when jammed by a pan but has not effected performance.

    Hard water area as well.

We have a zanussi which we're pleased with. Bought it via John Lewis and it did take a little longer as they don't actually hold zanussi stock st the warehouse but delivery guys were great, fitted the appliance (integrated so not 100% straight forward) and took the old one away.

My Bosch is a good 10 years old and no issues so far has been fine. Except for when some plates got scored. Up to that point I’d never bothered with adding salt to the salt tank. Was advised by the service guy that was the reason - limescale in the system (moderately hard water zone). Used salt since and the problem hasn’t returned.

Guys, saying buy a Bosch or Miele is no good, some Bosch have lesss than stellar reviews, some take forever or gave annoying layouts and some cost a bomb. As it!!!8217;s likely new, who!!!8217;s bought one in past 18 months, what!!!8217;s the model number and why is it good?

I had quite a few problems with my NEFF integrated dish washer. Replaced it with a free standing Samsung from JL which is much quieter and so far trouble free.
