What about disabilities? Does the same apply? If not why not?

Probably a question best addressed to airlines or the CAA rather than random posters on t'internet.

I'm perfectly capable of addressing the rest of your post but it would be well off topic and I chose not to. If you think its an area that merits discussion perhaps you should start a new thread. If it interests me, I may contribute to it. Although your gratuitous rudeness makes it unlikely that I would chose to engage with you on that or any other topic.

It is perfectly possible to engage with other FMs on matter you disagree with without resorting to rudeness.
Why bother replying to the PP then? Why bother with the above pointless post? Just don't reply if you don't want to engage, that's what most people do. Ta ta.

Not random, someone who expressed opinions, reasons and analogies for the way airlines act, but then got into a sulk when I challenged them.

But I'm sure you'd get a better answer to your 3 questions I highlighted from airlines or CAA rather than from anyone on this forum.
Please let us know what their response is.
    Thanks.

You ask them if you're so interested. Or perhaps the PP who is directly affected. I won't be.

I was just interested in discussing the logic of someone who appears to think it's perfectly right to cater for disabilities, perhaps even disabilities which don't result in airline seating problems, but very tall people who may have more problems than a disabled person getting into an airline seat should be left to struggle, or pay more. Just because they don't tick the "disability" box.

But he seems to have gone off in a huff so this sub-discussion is at an end.

But it was you who asked the 3 questions.
I really am not interested in the answers but I thought you must be interested because you asked the questions.
Personally, I'd only ask questions if I was interested in the answers.
But it appears you seem to ask questions of people who are not qualified to answer but for some reason don't want to ask the same questions of the people who may be able to answer those questions.
    I wonder why that is...?

I've just explained above. I don't care if you don't believe me, or it's too hard for you to understand. Ta ta.
