;74055266]No smell of gas and its 2mb. Apparently the tolerance is 4mb so I aint digging up my floor for that.
Out of interest how much gas am I wasting there though at 2mb?
Turn everything off, check the reading on the gas meter, check it again 24 hours later and see how many units of gas you have used ( if any )0 -
You are allowed upto 8mb drop with no smell of gas depending on the type of meter you haveI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

If you no much as think you have a gas leak in your property ring the gas emergency number.
I would be turning off the gas NOW.
Just shows - don;t believe everything you read on the internet.0 -
2 mb is about 0.03psi
(Air pressure is about 15 psi)
So it is about a 500th of the current weight of air on the top of you head.
AKA not a lot0 -
But still a leak..........0

Yes but as somebody pointed out theres never a 0 - there are no absolutes.
As such, we've got to go on guidelines and tolerances. If 2mb is within a tolerance then surely if you swiched the gas off and called out the supplier they'd measure it and say "nah not bothered".0
