I don't like begging, there was so many "homeless" people in town today and I swear I've seen most of them in pubs.
All tasks done, now going to re-attack my SOA, wish me luck!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Well I am feeling like I have done my good deed for the day to help a struggling friend. I have introduced them to the virtues of cashback sites! So the friend now has a quidco, topcashback and pigsback account

They have earned their first £9 on quidco through inkclub for a free cartridge which they needed anyway. I showed her my quidco account earnings and her jaw hit the floor!
I just need to persuade her to try and get her head out of the sand and tackle her debts, and have sent her the link for MSE newsletter, but so far nothing. I will keep chipping away, one step at a time

So are you Paying It Forward, Mrs S, by passing on your good fortune to have found MSE?
Sounds like a good plan to me! I've introduced 2 of my brothers, and one of the DS's...and DF keeps muttering about getting him "on there one day" - it WILL happen!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I am doing a full time masters and have 8 hours of lectures a week! Am only in 1 day!
Received invoice for fees of £4500 to be paid by oct 31st! With so few lectures I wonder exactly what I am paying for? The priviledge of having a student id card? The ability to dodge working full time for longer? The mind boggles...
One day I will sit down and work out how much I am paying per hour for this year. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
