new phone wallet bought with magnetic closure.

I have bought a case/wallet for mobile phone but have just thought will the magnetic closure affect my credit card when it is placed in my bag as my bag is quite small...are these magnets on phone wallets strong enough to wipe credit cards? Should i avoid the phone wallet being next to anything else?

I haven't heard of such problem with magnets and cards but I guess it's better you call your local bank to make sure.0
